Shattered Mirrors – The Ten Days to Armageddon Foundation

This POV Fantasy-Fiction novel is about the 10 days preceding the planned end of the world. Jehovah plans to destroy the world. He sends his archangels out to gather the Prana needed to begin Armageddon. Jehovah, out of curiosity, allows himself to be captured by Lakita and DiWata. Jehovah is enamored by the girl’s spirit, they remind him of Abraham, and has a change of heart and allows the carbonites to be ‘protected’ by Victoria. As with many endings, this is also the beginning of Victoria’s reign over U169. She is behaving more and more like the Council.

The following content of Shattered Mirrors is designed to be subtle, entertaining, and hopefully not anticipated.

This is not Young Adult material. I will explain.

The genre is Spirit Fantasy or Alt Religion and Spirituality. I intend on ny writing to be thought-provoking. It is intended for the reader be subtly shocked. There are sexual and physical violent scenes. My writing is centered on factoids that may challenge traditional thought.

FACTOID #1: LIFE IS A TEMPORAL EXISTENCE WITH INFINITE POSSIBILITIES

Only gods create an existence aka an instance and require a certain amount of Prana or energy to create it.  A God may create a god, a spirit or soul (in vessels), or a vessel that holds a spirit (soul). One vessel type is a carbonite.  A spirit may exist outside of a vessel which includes Angels or servants of a god. Spirits may travel from one vessel to another but always remain within an instance.

Only gods may spin off new existences and move between existences. Carbonites that learn about how to master god-skills (Controllers) may spawn instances of an existence but cannot create an existence. Gods may or may not have purposes in the creation of existence. Gods may never create anything and just be.  A creation, intended or not, will interact with whatever other creations it encounters.

Virtues are not important other than they are an aspect of creations. Gods define their idea of virtue and thus becomes the focus of an existence. Created beings don’t necessarily have a choice and act within the parameters set up by the gods. If a created being is to be good, it can attempt to be as good as permitted by the creator’s design.  A creator created good, bad, and that which attempts to be good or bad.

Instances operate on their own. If one goes back in time and makes a change in an existence, a new existence is spawned. This is not a multiverse. Only gods may operate within different multiverses. Spirits and vessels are completely duplicated within instances.

FACTOID #2: LIFE INCLUDES A SPIRITUAL DIMENSION

First, our existence may or may not include three or more dimensions that need not necessarily extend to multiverses but necessarily include our middleverse which seems to have abundant instances of spiritual animation that often escape logical explanation. The switch that animates life is one such instance found in every birth that to this point in time cannot be produced with a recipe book with required ingredients and processes. That said, we should acknowledge the universal ‘hope’ that an upperverse and lowerverse exists where expired creatures of the middleverse go to abide with or away from the creator(s). There is no evidence of a merit system for either place but there is the same hope that there is a merit system. Some see this as an acknowledgment of human fragility. These forms of hope may also be understood in the context of the second factoid.

CONTROLLERS: Direct spirits and physical entities through direct power (Prana)

ANGELS & DEMONS: Spirits that are Spell Casters including carbon entities

SORCERORS, SHAMAN, WITCHES, ASSORTED SPELL CASTERS

FACTOID #3: MOST VALUES ARE ASSUMED TRUE AND NEED CONTINUOUS REFLECTION AND REEVALUATION

Virtues or values are taught at a young age through repetition or by authority figures and assumed true. This is the job of parents, guardians, and idiot box messages found in live shows, videos, music, art, and bathroom walls. Some values may even be inherited.

I hope that I provide an opportunity for the mature mind to be entertained while encouraged to push back on choices and values that may have been accepted blindly without further reflection. We all choose to create a code of conduct based on our idealized virtues and subsequent values.

The subject matter of my writing includes virtue, gender identity, religious concepts (Is there a God? What is the nature of God? Is God good? Is God interested in people?), drugs (What is a drug?), race, relationship choices (monogamy vs polyamory vs open relations), and violence against women, (rape, trafficking, and sodomy).

While not all chapters of Shattered Mirrors have explicit content, the reader has been warned that the material presented may have health consequences and at the very least, infect your anus.

Shattered Mirrors is written in a Point-of-view (POV) narrative style using multiple narrators assigned to a chapter. However, a few chapters are using section-assigned narrators. There are titles with information used for document management of my writing. For example, Magillacuddy (MS 30,907 WP 3,471) identifies Magillacuddy as the Chapter Title followed by the reported lengths in Microsoft Word and WordPress. SM C1.25 12-15-22 is Shattered Mirrors Chapter 1 version 33 last updated 12/15/2022. This is typically followed by information for readers: a section description, sometimes location, and the narrator. In a few instances, there is an omniscient narrator.
